For those of you who are not familiar with the term, elopement wedding means that you are tying the knot and celebrating with just the two of you or a small gathering in a minimal, more casual fashion. You can utilize your living room, backyard, or common space of your relatives!
Need proof? Say no more, let’s take a look at some of the options below:
1. Living Room
Turn your living room into a perfect altar with some beautiful flower arrangements. Don’t forget to also rent pretty chairs, so it will make the decoration look real nice.
Tips for the flower arrangements: match your house design/style and color with the style of the flower arrangement. Take some pictures of your house and send it to your florist/ decorator so they can visualize better!
2. Backyard
If you/ your fiancé happens to have a spacious backyard, you can create a mini garden for your elopement wedding. This way, you can save costs for the greeneries and simply add some statement flowers to make it more unique!
Furthermore, you can also build a simple arch for your photo session.
Or, utilize stairs or even a tree!
Another way to apply this concept is to your garage! If you happen to have a roomy garage, you might want to give this a go ;)
Cover it with a fabric + flower arrangement = voila!
3. Common Space
If your house is not an option to hold a small event, but you know some relatives with a space that can be utilized like restaurant/ hall/ villa/ even an apartment unit, you can maybe ask their permission to use it for your elopement wedding! Below are some inspirations to give you more pictures:
Last but not least, please keep the safety protocol in mind. Even the smallest number of gatherings will still have the risk. Use a mask, wash your hands often, and don’t touch your face. ;)
