Blissful Garden Party for Michael & Lucita's Wedding

Take natural gardens, add in an array of colourful and blooming flowers, and the end result is a stunning and elegant decoration fit for our couple! M & L held their wedding mid January 2021in the midst of the Covid pandemic, hence keeping their guest list short and sweet.

Although their guests consisted of mainly closest family, that didn't stop us from going all out for their wedding decor! We're huge believers of making each wedding stand out and bringing unique experiences for all guests, and we were thrilled when Luci approached us with a garden theme in mind.

Gardens are romantic, naturally beautiful, and tend to always have an enchanting atmosphere about them. But our one dilemma was where could we find a large garden to wed in the bustling city of Jakarta? You know what they say, if you can't find it, then create it!

Held in the high rise Fairmont Hotel, read on to see how we transformed the large space into a mesmerising garden to celebrate the union of Mike and Luci.

Before going into details, we want to share a little background story that we cherish from this couple; how they treasure God’s grace in their relationship. They particularly requested to include Jesus’s painting in their stationery, to show how God plays a really big role in their relationship and wedding.

This personalised detail made her bespoke stationery very unique and true to them and for this project, we partnered up with Meili Fluous to come up with this beautiful set.

For their holy matrimony book, we suggested our couple add this multi function note which acts as a source of information, containing information like thank you notes and covid procedure. This minimalistic note can be also be stretched and extended to become a fan, in the event the weather gets too hot! You could definitely adopt this idea if you're having an outdoor blessing ceremony!

Exclusively captured by Pyara Photo, M & L's wedding was a celebration of togetherness, and highlights our fashionable bride. During her morning beauty shoot, Luci showed how she had fun with her bridal fashion, featuring a wide lace hat and stunning flower tulle robe.

Moving on to revealing most important attire of the day, our bride's wedding dress! It was always Luci's dream to wed in an international designer gown, hence the choice to go with a classic Muse by Berta wedding dress.

Adorned with layers and layers of soft tulle, along with tiny flower embroideries strewed along the entire dress, her wedding dress was ethereal, dreamy, and perfect for her dream wedding.

To make sure Luci achieves the exact garden concept she wants, we had the idea to use flower wreaths as the bridesmaid bouquets. Thanks to the Bloomsville Team, with a base of twigs and assorted white flowers, they managed to help us bring our vision to life.

Before the bride and groom meeting, we definitely won't forget the most important element! Her wedding shoes! Being the classic bride she is, she opted for a white satin Badgley Mischka heels with a crystal pattern on the back. One word. STUNNING!

Having your best men around you on your most special day really helps to lighten the mood!

Tagging along with Mike to fetch the bride, was Luci's bridal bouquet. A white messy arrangement dominated with draping orchids, adds a touch of elegance to the whole look!

Finally, the moment the couple's been waiting for! Aren't you just bursting with happiness looking at their wide smiles?

Onto their blessing ceremony! During the whole month of January, we were anxious to see weather forecasts as it was rainy season in Jakarta. That particular day, the couple were blessed with extremely good weather! Not only did it not rain, there was just enough sunlight and even a breeze throughout the event! Proof that when you ask, God answers :)

We’ve always wanted to create this kind of garden decoration but never had the chance to encounter such a perfect intimate setting as theirs.

To us, the stunner of this wedding is the use of these beautiful garden benches! We've also added some asymmetrical cushions to give extra comfort to all of the guests, because we'd like to highlight an unforgettable experience for their wedding guests.

When we had this idea, we could only think of Bloomsville as the perfect fit to bring this decor to life, and they proved us right! All of us couldn't be any happier with the result! 🤍🤍

To further emphasise their grand entrance, we had these asymmetrical arches installed to welcome the bride and groom. 2 tall greenery structures filled with lush garden flowers eagerly awaited the couple's entrance.

Finally, the pièce de résistance, a stunning four legged gazebo filled with lush greeneries and an abundance of blooming flowers. Spot the crystal chandelier that elevated the look into a luxurious garden party!

For their entire concept, we created 4 focal decoration points, the benches, entrance arch, gazebo, and a full greenery backdrop to achieve a clean altar view.

Throughout our entire thought process, we chose a timeless palette with lush greenery and pastel blooms, so that their once in a lifetime moment would never be outdated.

After the Holy Matrimony, we had time to slip in some beauty portraits before the lunch reception! Naturally we took advantage of the beautiful Fairmont Herbs Garden as the natural background.
