We are going to have a little throw back to our last September's wedding as it was definitely one of the most memorable weddings we've done so far. Darren and Connie approached us with vibrant and interesting colour combinations they wanted on their wedding.
The couple chose to go with Cobalt Blues, Vibrant Oranges, Bright Yellows, and Scarlet Reds, to show their electric side. It was very exciting but also a little nerve-wracking as it is a 'go big or go home' kind of situation and we really wanted to create a unique wedding that would suit their personalities.
On the day, we start with styling all their wedding details first and foremost.
We fell in love as soon as we laid eyes on this invitation suite made by Pemberley Paperie. It really reflected the colour combination us and the couple envisioned and we were beyond thrilled with the results.
The Menu Cards and Table Numbers were creatively designed by House of Papeterie to complete the whole wedding stationery set.
The souvenir boxes were also made colourful to match the invitations and it definitely sparked an excitement in the guests from the very start. Fun fact, the wedding favours were from Jamuwell, the bride's own traditional herbal drink brand!
Moving on to the quintessential beauty shoot and styling of the bride, groom, and their wedding party. We wanted to keep it simple and classic; a testament to their closeness and intimacy.
Onto one of the most anticipated aspects of a wedding, the decoration. We wanted to bring the theme of 'Floral Frutti' for this wedding and the decoration team from Khayalkini came up with a mix of fruits and flowers inspired by the drink sangria. The result was a mix of vibrant, fresh, and definitely unique!
Before entering the venue, the guests would be greeted by welcome trays and a photo spot. This set is actually influenced by Connie’s wish to have a classic yet modern garden themed wedding. Taking an inspiration from their ready-to-drink jamu brand JamuWell that infuses variety of fruit flavors, we then combined bold & bright coloured flowers with fruits, such as apples, pears, grapes, you name it!
Entering the reception hall, guests would be captivated by the bold combination of colours and the elegance of the decor that consists of hanging florals, fruits, and rounded chandeliers.
At the centre of it all stood the Bridal Table. As you can see this mirrored Bridal Table is fully covered with fruits and flowers. It drew all eyes to the bride and groom, becoming the focal point of the decoration. We opted for a simple cream tableware set from SeMeja to let the centrepiece decoration shine. We simply adore the combination of the neutral coloured plates with the burnt orange napkin, perfected with menu details from House of Papeterie.
No wedding is complete without a wedding cake, some say it even amplifies the whole decor. Keeping that in mind, we chose a bronze coloured wedding cake to match the ambience, with flowers and fruits as added detail. This beauty was made by SweetSalt and we witnessed firsthand how they meticulously arranged each piece of fruits and flowers, it was truly a work of art!
For the guest tables we opted on creme table cloths and acrylic chairs to balance out the bright-coloured arrangement and backdrop, while the centrepieces stayed true to our theme of flowers and fruits.
This wedding will definitely go down in our history as one of the most vibrant, electric, and fun colours we've ever done! As always, we love to help our clients reflect their personalities onto the best day of their lives, and we are very happy to have lent a helping hand in making Darren and Connie's bright personalities come to live on their wedding day.
Thank you Darren & Connie for allowing us to style your big day. We hope you guys find lots of love and joy in your marriage!
