For this special couple, they planned a two part wedding - where they chose to separate the Holy Matrimony and Reception. What we love? Being able to play with two colour hues for both their events!
Having the chance to play with two colours, we chose to incorporate shades of purples with whites for their Holy Matrimony, making sure it was still timeless, perfect for someone wanting to incorporate a little colour into an otherwise classic palette.
Starting their morning preparation with a styled shoot for their stationery set, we'd like to invite you to enjoy this beautiful calligraphy suite by Claudia Rachel.
This classic set featured a beautiful velvet ring box from Lovelours, definitely one of the most precious wedding keepsake. Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, this ring box can be easily be brought for your travel needs.
For her bridal shoes, Vio chose this dainty polka dot heels from Bella Belle, a prominent USA brand to fit her preferences. What we absolutely loved was the huge ribbon details behind the heels of each shoes, making for a dreamy and statement part in her wedding attire. According to our bride, this brand is one of the most comfiest bridal shoes available! Comfort and luxurious design, what more can we ask for in a pair of shoes? :)
For her most special morning, she donned on a robe from Debby Hardinata, reminiscent of a vintage look, with cinched waists and a twist for a deep V neck. We personally thought this was beautiful, creating a lasting look for her morning prep session. To further add flair to the look, she had on a flower embroidered veil, full flowers at the base of her bun, and the rest scattered around the meter long veil. For some of you who don't prefer to use a headpiece, we recommend playing with your veil embellishments instead!
After their blessed Holy Matrimony session, we can officially say, Kelvin & Viovita as husband and wife! Moving on to their celebration, and this time, we chose different colour palettes! Combining yellows, soft blues, oranges and fuchsia, into a wedding theme for K&V's reception.
Throughout our styling journey, we’ve been waiting for “the one” who is open to explore with bright and colourful tones. Hence, when Vio told us that she approved the idea, we were beyond excited!
Here we featured the invitation keepsake by Claudia Rachel.. What makes this extra special and personal, is the sketch of our couple’s love journey since 2006😍
You guys know we love small details, right? Their papeteries were no exception! We liased with House of Papeterie for all the wedding stationery! From the menu to the table numbers, HOP did a splendid job.
The design was simple, dominant with a half oval shapes, along with beautiful printed menus in different shades of the colour palette. As font lovers ourselves, we can say that we're head over heels with the choice of sans serif fonts! (Getting too technical, we know!)
For Vio's bridesmaids bouquets, we specifically requested pale tones with bright pop of fuchsia. This lovely posy fits the spot! Clusters of roses, and carnations were the key ingredients for their bouquets.
Another thing we're beyond excited about, were the multiple dresses she wore for her events. For this second morning prep session, the moment we say her in this, SWOON WORTHY! Vio opted something unusual for a totally different look from her Holy Matrimony day.
She wanted something fun and playful, we then suggested her to go with this custom mini tulle ruffle-tiered dress by Jean Tirtamarta, and can't be more in love with the result! She looked so stunning, perfected by the high wavy ponytail for a more laidback look. Just the right amount of playful..
Since she already wore white for the Holy Matrimony, this time she decided to go with this adorable blush coloured dress by Debby Hardinata. Such a different look from the all white dress, and we can definitely say this look is growing on us!
Adoring how the pleated ruffles flowed admirably on her, topped with the bustier top to accentuate the feminine impressions! Last but not least, the round bouquet from Erich Decor for the final touch, such a pretty and graceful look 🥰
Further snippets of the decor from our couple's reception day. We chose to incorporate bright pops of colours in the centrepieces and flower arrangements, thus creating a playful atmosphere. To balance it out, we used baby blue tablecloths for all guest tables to create a stunning combination.
They had an uber cute photogenic and functional seating chart for the guests! Using elements of half ovals and rectangles, and combined with timeless calligraphy and wax seals, this decor element surely was one of our favourites that day!
Noteworthy mention to White Pot Wedding Cakes, for creating their multilayered tier cake with a twist on the topmost layer, creating more dimension to their design..
Mixing marble, ruffles, and flowers, what a truly beautiful piece.
Thank you Kelvin & Viovita for trusting us to be part of your big day. May the love you share today grow stronger as you grow older 😍
