Round Neutrals for Alfred & Michelle's Wedding

Moving on to another unique project we did back in 2021.. Fun fact about our couple this time, they absolutely loved the textures of mushrooms!

Quite a unique favorite, don’t you think? We wanted to incorporate a mushroom theme to the wedding at first, but our couple decided they wanted something classic instead.

Without further ado, we're showcasing this classic wedding, with hints of our couple unique personality in their stationeries!

To incorporate their favorite mushroom, we thought using those elements in their stationery was the way to go. This heavily inspired mushroom invitation by @parlerstudio features a textural cut out on the front of the envelope, with the main invitation having frills like the oyster mushroom.

Even the envelope liner was covered in the texture of mushrooms!

Definitely went all out for their wedding stationery, that even the menu design from @houseofpapeterie had embossed textures replicating those of mushrooms.

After their detail styling, we move on to style her morning beauty shoot!

Michelle had her morning preparation done at the comfort of her own home, and to spruce up the surroundings, we decorated every inch of her home with fluffy whites and greens.

Her morning robe from @cindytandiyah features a unique twist, with the frills and textures of mushrooms being embroidered into her dress.

Her bridesmaids were all beautifully matched in champagne gold robes, and accompanying our bride as she made her way down to see the morning dress.

Not stopping there, @hiantjen amazingly took our request to laser cut and hand embroider the mushroom pattern from @parlerstudio into her veil!

Such nice personalisation into her classic white wedding dress.

Besides featuring Hian Tjen’s signature draping techniques, unique diamond cutting on the chest area is also added, as well as a halter finish.

Onto the bridesmaids attires, a rich shade of olive green was chosen for the bridesmaids’ attire, and this shade definitely complimented all their skin tones!

To match their outfit, dark green weaved rattan bag from @rajoet.id were gifted to the bridal party, for being a part of A&F’s big day! The tag and ribbon were also made matching to the wedding’s color palette.

Another fun fact - cactus is incorporated here to represent the couple’s love on wild nature 🌵

Meanwhile in our groom's side..

All suited up and ready to fetch the bride! Posing for a few shots before heading to church..

The sacred Holy Matrimony ceremony was held in a church, already beautiful in its own. We wanted to add just a bit of flair, but still keeping everything classic, with plenty of white green florals along the aisle and altar table, and a full baby breath welcome arch for the couple’s entrance.

ree

The clean white floorings also helped a lot in the aesthetics of the decor, providing a white clean canvas for the decor to work on. @yu_cienlotus @lotusdesign.official achieved this classic look beautifully!

Congratulations Alfred & Michelle for finally tying the knot! Now its time for the fun to start, reception dinner!

ree

ree

For the reception dress, she changed to a completely different outfit also by @hiantjen. Here this small waisted A line dress had on a fully pleated tulle fabric, creating so much dimension within the dress. A long V neck was also incorporated for that glam factor.

The dress was then finished together with a custom silver brooch from @rinaldyyunardi, which was actually textures of the mushrooms all combined together to resemble a floral arrangement! We loved this dress as it was classic, unique with a twist and definitely not plain ✨

Moving on to the reception decor. We wanted to use everything round for Alfred & Michelle’s reception, hence the idea of making all floral arrangements into round balls!

Starting off from the foyer, a tunnel built especially for their wedding, with its grey walls and lush floral arrangements leading the guests on a mini journey before entering the main ballroom area.

ree

Keeping everything sophisticated with gold accents, we also requested this custom built art arrangement as their welcome sign.

ree

Step into the ballroom and see all the decor incorporating the usage of floral balls. Even the layout consisted of mixing several round tables to create a unique table setting.

To match the entire theme, the Sweetsalt team constructed this 5 tiered white beauty for us. Set in a textured base, the cake features round elements to support the decor.

ree

Thank you for this unique pairing of a wedding, Alfred and Michelle. Cheers to the future and may you dance every night away!
